Counting Down!

In less than 3 weeks I'll be married, woohoo!

p.s.  short post cuz it's 10/14 - 1 day before tax due date, so I'm super busy!

Chloe

We adopted Chloe a few weeks ago, and look at her transformation!

The dog next to her is Nino, my sister-in-law's dog.  Chloe and Nino play together everyday.

Haunted

The company I work for moved its location about two miles from the former location a few months ago.  I noticed the first night there, as I proceeded to unpack, that something was iffy.  I couldn't pinpoint the source of the iffiness at the time, so I stopped thinking about it.

WTF

I wanted to be home by 6pm tonight to be with my honey.  Naturally, Murphy's Law kicked in gear!  I checked the traffic online at 5pm, and saw that the freeway was completely backed up, which shows up in red.  When it's all red, it can take up to two hours or more for me to get home.  So I decided to wait it out a bit.

Now it's almost 6:30pm, it's still yellow & orange because some careless drivers had a collision near the exit I usually take.  Seriously, I know that all things happen for a reason but come the f on, this happens nearly every single Thursday evening! 

End of rant.

So this Taiwanese socialite and some friends of hers got together to come up with a new brand of cosmetics. On the webpage, she wrote this as the introduction.

Please Move On First

I once dated a guy that was full of insecurity.  Although I wasn't the most confident person, but I had never seen anyone so insecure as him.  He always assumed that I was cheating on him, if I didn't take his calls, regardless where and when it was.  He didn't care that I might have been busy at work, on the phone with a client, dealing with a client in person, or had gone to the bathroom.  If he called me and I wasn't available, he automatically assumed the worst.  We got in numerous verbal fights over the phone while I was work, to the point that my boss asked me to not take personal calls during work hours, for it was affecting my work performance.  He was understanding but firm about it.  I was honestly quite grateful that he said so, because I then had perfect reason to give to that ex about not calling or paging me during work hours.

Idiots

I used to be more compassionate.  Yup, used to be, cuz I'm a lot meaner nowadays, especially towards people that decide not to use their brain.  It's not that I think of myself better than others, because I'm really not all that.  But some people just really irritate the hell out of me, especially during the hours of 8am - 5pm.
